GIRLS SOCCER: Martinez, Cowboys rally by Sunrise Mountain

Rosa Martinez scored three goals Thursday to help Chaparral’s girls soccer team rally from a 2-1 halftime deficit to post a 4-2 win at Sunrise Mountain.
Damari Rivas also scored for the Cowboys.
Lizabeth Villegas and Olga Linares scored for the Miners.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Jaymee Luke scored twice to help the Spartans nip the Diamondbacks.
Annalise Esparza also scored for Cimarron.
Kayla Saucedo netted both Desert Oasis goals.
Centennial 2, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, Shelby Riddle and Sidney Morris each scored a goal to lead the Bulldogs past the Longhorns.
Karlee Edwards made five saves en route to the shutout.
Bishop Gorman 4, Bonanza 0 — At Gorman, Daisy Cabrera and Arlie Jones each had a goal and an assist to lead the Gaels over the Bengals.
Arianna Cabrera and McKayla Philippi also scored for Gorman.
Jessica Anaya made two saves to earn the shutout.
Cheyenne 5, Adelson School 0 — At Cheyenne, Jocelyn Vasquez scored twice as the Desert Shields blanked the Lions.
Karla Rodriguez, Emily Gutierrez and Amairani Gomez each added a goal for Cheyenne.
Arika Carey recorded the shutout for Cheyenne.
Faith Lutheran 10, Clark 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Emily Neighbors, Kristi Chinn and Dani Tharaldson each had two goals and an assist as the Crusaders routed the Chargers.
Brenna Rohnkohl and Charlotte Vancura each added a goal and an assist for Faith Lutheran, which also got goals from Nikki Amavisca and Cameron Bracey.
Beka Lescenski made two saves en route to the shutout.
Pahrump Valley 11, Western 0 — At Western, Sydney Sladek had seven goals and three assists to lead the Trojans over the Warriors in a game stopped just 10 minutes into the second half.
Paige Chafee added two goals, and Kristen Young and Courtney Lindsey each scored once for Pahrump.
Goalkeeper Kiaya Nauck had six saves in the shutout.
Moapa Valley 4, Boulder City 1 — At Overton, Kiersten Petty scored two goals as the Pirates topped the Eagles.
Makayla Jackson and Ashley Holmes each added a goal for Moapa Valley.
Vilde Svendsen scored for Boulder City.
Virgin Valley at Tech — The Bulldogs’ match against the Roadrunners was postponed after the Clark County School District’s risk management department deemed Tech’s field unplayable Thursday because of sinkholes.
A makeup date has not yet been announced.
