GIRLS TENNIS: Walker leads Panthers to quarterfinal win

Annie Walker went 2-0 in singles Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s girls tennis team to a 16-2 win over visiting Desert Oasis in a Sunset Region quarterfinal.
Chloe Henderson and Sophie Henderson were 2-0 in doubles for the Panthers (13-0), who will host Bonanza in a region semifinal at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Desert Oasis finished 4-10.
Bishop Gorman 15, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Gorman, Monika Ryan was 3-0 in singles as the Gaels topped the Mustangs.
Chelsea Crovetti was 2-0 in singles for Gorman (12-0), which will host Centennial (7-5) in a region semifinal at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Kaylee Green and Angel Ong were 2-1 in doubles for Shadow Ridge (5-7).
DIVISION I-A SOUTHERN REGION
Boulder City 13, Adelson School 5 — At Boulder City, Taylor Finn was 2-1 in singles to help the Eagles (13-0) top the Lions (6-8).
Natalia Fullmer and Madeline Montgomery were 2-1 in doubles for Boulder City, which will host Faith Lutheran (15-3) at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
