GIRLS SOCCER: Valley drops Canyon Springs on Watson’s goal

Rachel Watson’s unassisted goal midway through the second half Thursday lifted Valley’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 win at Canyon Springs.
Ajanique Reece recorded the shutout for the Vikings.
Coronado 3, Foothill 1 — At Coronado, Michaela Morris and Taylor Houston each had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars over the Falcons.
Kasey Ficklin also scored for Coronado, which trailed 1-0 at the half.
Katherine Ballou had Foothill’s goal.
Green Valley 0, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, the Gators and Skyhawks played to a scoreless tie.
Green Valley’s Kiyana Lopez and Silverado’s Mikaila Becze recorded the shutouts.
Las Vegas 6, Rancho 1 — At Las Vegas, Adriana Domingo scored three goals to lead the Wildcats past the Rams.
Emilee Bowen, Mackenzie McCoy and Alyssa Mireles also scored for Las Vegas.
Iris Martinez scored for Rancho.
Eldorado 7, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Kimberly Olivares had two goals and an assist, and Vanessa Rojo-Martinez had a goal and four asssits to lead the Sundevils past the Dragons.
Kimberly Tapia had a goal and an assist, and Jacquie Avila, Vanessa Sanabria and Madison Granger also scored for the Sundevils.
Cassandra Calzada scored twice for Del Sol.
Arbor View 6, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Breanna Larkin had two goals and an assist, and Bailee Davis added a goal and three assists as the Aggies blanked the Grizzlies.
Katelyn Laurente had a goal and an assist, and Jessica Longhurst and Vanessa Lourenco also scored for Arbor View.
Kylee Wallace made three saves en route to the shutout.
Liberty 3, Basic 3 — At Basic, the Patriots and Wolves each scored three second-half goals in the draw.
Hannah Johnson had a goal and an assist to lead Liberty, which also got goals from Tori Holliman and Danisa Martinez.
Sierra Vista 12, Durango 0 — At Sierra Vista, Sophia Omidiji scored four goals as the Mountain Lions routed the Trailblazers.
Sabrina Mallett had two goals and an assist, and Jasmine Morice and Courtney Shay added two goals apiece for Sierra Vista. Elisse Aguirre and Dreah Gaspar each had a goal and an assist, and Angelina Iniguez had two assists for the Mountain Lions.
Dejah Burchfield and Elisea Melendez combined on the shutout.
