TENNIS: Stadtlander helps Crusader boys edge Durango

Mario Stadtlander went 3-0 in singles Saturday to help Faith Lutheran's boys tennis team to a 10-8 win over host Durango.

Jack Stevens was 2-0 in singles for the Crusaders.

Durango's Jon Nhan and Jonathan Dai were 3-0 in doubles, and teammates Sergio Fernandez and Christian Pascua went 2-1 in doubles.

Faith Lutheran 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Durango, Mitch Taylor and Matt Shuirman went 3-0 in doubles as the Crusaders topped the Diamondbacks.

Joey Ritorto was 2-0 in singles, and Hunter Kacsur and Marc Beccue went 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Bryce Tacker was 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Durango 12, Desert Oasis 6 — At Durango, the Trailblazers downed the Diamondbacks.

GIRLS

Faith Lutheran 12, Durango 6 — At Durango, Rachel Taber and Chandler Young were 2-0 in doubles as the Crusaders defeated the Trailblazers.

Christina Sanders was 3-0 in singles for Durango.

Faith Lutheran 16, Desert Oasis 2 — At Durango, Madison Foley was 3-0 in singles to help the Crusaders storm past the Diamondbacks.

Kathleen Wright was 2-0 in singles, and the team of Kristina Berg and Talia Graf went 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Durango 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Durango, the Trailblazers topped the Diamondbacks.
