GOLF: Ryu helps Panthers to Northwest win

Alison Ryu carded a 21-over-par 93 at Spanish Trail on Monday to help Palo Verde’s girls golf team win a Northwest League match.

The Panthers had a team score of 393. Shadow Ridge was second at 442, followed by Arbor View at 485.

The Aggies’ Betsy Branton was the medalist with a 91.

Palo Verde’s Madison Hendricks shot 97.

Coronado defeats Green Valley

At Revere, Olivia Greenwald and Natalie Yamamoto each shot 3-over 39 to lead Coronado to a 164-199 win over Green Valley.

The Gators’ Mercedes Khumnark was the medalist with a 36.
