GIRLS TENNIS: Sundevils hold off Wolves

Bermary Perez and Kendra Dennis went 3-0 in doubles Thursday to lead Eldorado’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 win at Basic.
Kerrigan Holman and Kimberly Fernandez went 2-1 in doubles, and Melissa Guerrero was 2-1 in singles for the Sundevils.
Paige Blake was 3-0 in singles for the Wolves.
Rancho 12, Las Vegas 6 — At Rancho, Jennifer Deng and Emily Tran went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Rams by the Wildcats.
Rancho’s Rosalyn Ngo and Megan Sloan each went 2-1 in singles.
Geovanna Hilton was 3-0 in singles for Las Vegas.
Coronado 12, Foothill 6 — At Foothill, Nikoletta Nikoloff and Camille Solla each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Cougars over the Falcons.
Constanza Perkins and Samantha Ross were 3-0 in doubles for Coronado.
Bonanza 12, Centennial 6 — At Centennial, Sarai Saucedo went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals past the Bulldogs on Thursday.
Agnes Enkhtamir and Leeza Brown went 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.
Valley 13, Canyon Springs 5 — At Valley, Brooke Harding went 3-0 in singles, and the Vikings swept the nine doubles sets to down the Pioneers.
Valley’s doubles teams of Olivia Jensen and Diondra Dilworth, Daisy Mejia-Ramirez and Katherine Jones, and Brooke Arita-Zamora and Carolina Pena-Navarro each went 3-0.
Ma’Jhanae Thomas and Marta Chyzh each went 2-1 in singles for Canyon Springs.
Liberty 14, Del Sol 4 — At Liberty, Megan Quandt and Yvonne Asoy went 3-0 in doubles as the Patriots downed the Dragons.
Kelsey Rechy was 3-0 in singles for Del Sol.
Shadow Ridge 10, Sierra Vista 8 — At Shadow Ridge, Kaylee Green and Angel Ong were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Mustangs by the Mountain Lions.
Kim Lai was 3-0 in singles for Sierra Vista.
The Mountain Lions were 10-8 winners in the conclusion of a match that was suspended on Sept. 11 due to rain.
Palo Verde 16, Durango 2 — At Palo Verde, Annie Walker was 3-0 in singles to help the Panthers defeat the Trailblazers.
Palo Verde’s doubles teams of Abby Till and Alissa Till, and Shannon Dean and Abby Lewis each went 3-0.
Christina Sanders was 2-1 in singles for Durango.
Arbor View 15, Spring Valley 3 — At Spring Valley, Elen Safarian and Catherine Arizmendez each went 3-0 in singles to help the Aggies beat the Grizzlies.
Arbor View’s doubles teams of Janiria Robinson and Lauren Gilmore, and Imonie Coward and Chaise Sandoval each went 2-0. Nicolette D’Arienzo and Megan Wheatley were 2-1 in doubles for the Aggies.
Bishop Gorman 16, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Gorman, Monika Ryan and Julia MacDonald each went 3-0 in singles as the Gaels downed the Spartans.
Green Valley 16, Silverado 2 — At Silverado, Megan Madrid and Erica Shelton each went 2-0 in singles as the Gators routed the Skyhawks.
Paola Davila and Sydnee Crosby finished 2-0 in doubles for Green Valley.
Faith Lutheran 17, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Jordan Harmonay was 2-0 in singles as the Crusaders blitzed the Rattlers.
Vanessa Lee and Krystal Petersen were 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.
The Meadows 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Mustangs won by forfeit.
