Basilio leads Lions to first win

Calvary Chapel's Chris Basilio snagged six receptions for 135 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown, as the Lions shut outvisiting White Pine, 12-0, on Friday.

Basilio added an interception on defense, and teammate Lucas Griebel added a touchdown catch.

Calvary Chapel quarterback Riley Clark went 6 of 23 for 142 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 93 yards on five carries and intercepting a pass on defense.

Calvary Chapel (1-4, 1-3 Division III Southern) posted four interceptions, two from Dawson Thomas, on their way to the shutout.

Emmit Finnicum led the Bobcats (0-5, 0-3), rushing for 84 yards on 13 carries.
