GIRLS TENNIS: Novak’s singles sweep powers Bulldogs over Spartans

McKay Novak ws 3-0 in singles Monday to help Centennial’s girls tennis team to a 12-6 win at Cimarron-Memorial.

Katie Hansen and Alyssa Lourenco were 3-0 in doubles for the Bulldogs.

Tiersa Schultz, Briana Brevard-Mays and Justine Felix each went 2-1 in singles for the Spartans.

Moapa Valley 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Desert Pines, Kaitlyn Marshall and Holly Rust went 3-0 in doubles to help the Pirates beat the Jaguars.

Ashley Palacios was 3-0 in singles for Desert Pines.

Bonanza 14, Legacy 4 — At Bonanza, the doubles teams of Kim Pace and Kayla Sylvester, and Mia Mallette and Alexis Groom each went 2-0 to lead the Bengals over the Longhorns.

Adrienne Millow was 2-0 in singles for the Bengals.

Virgin Valley 14, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Mesquite, Sara Anderson and Kaycee Anderson each went 3-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs top the Miners.

Jessica Gomez and Emily Andreola went 3-0 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

The Meadows 15, Clark 3 — At Clark, Abbhi Klein went 3-0 in singles to help the Mustangs top the Chargers.

Abbey Escala and Paige Smith were 3-0 in doubles for Clark.

Faith Lutheran 15, Cheyenne 3 — At Cheyenne, Krystal Petersen and Vanessa Lee each went 2-0 in singles as the Crusaders downed the Desert Shields.

Jordan Harmonay and Michelle Reiss were 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Bishop Gorman 17, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Julia MacDonald was 3-0 in singles to help the Gaels rout the Diamondbacks.

Mojave 10, Adelson School 8 — At Adelson, the doubles teams of Tori Chipman and Blanca Estrada, Sharrah Kenyon and Sarah Kane, and Jenna Garduno and Olympia Aguilar each went 2-0 to help the Rattlers nip the Lions.

Tech 16, Chaparral 2 — At Chaparral, the Roadrunners rolled by the Cowboys.

Del Sol 12, Western 0 — At Del Sol, the Dragons won by forfeit.
