Top players: MF/F Julio Vargas (Sr.), MF Derian Salcido (Sr.), D Hugo Flores (Sr.), F Salvador Garcia (Sr.)

Outlook: The Roadrunners lost eight players to graduation after winning the state championship, but return some awfully good players.

Garcia collected 29 goals and 16 assists, and Vargas had 26 goals and 18 assists last season. Salcido chipped in 14 goals and seven assists, and Flores contributed six goals and three assists.

“The Roadrunners are young in several key positions, so if the pieces come together, they should be able to make another strong playoff run,” Jones said.
