GOLF: Foothill, Gorman boys finish in tie
Bishop Gorman’s Frank Frisbee and Foothill’s Taylor Montgomery each shot 2-over-par 38 at Bear’s Best on Tuesday as the Gaels and Falcons played to a 206-206 tie.
Foothill’s Connor Bodin and Andrew Chu each shot 40.
Christian James added a 40 for the Gaels.
Crusaders breeze to Sunset match win
At Las Vegas Municipal, John Bowers carded a 4-over 76 to help Faith Lutheran win a Sunset League match.
The Crusaders had a team score of 394. Pahrump Valley was second with 439, followed by Cheyenne with 493 and Western with 522.
J.R. Tuls added a 77, and A.J. Johnson shot 78 for Faith Lutheran.
The Crusaders' Dallas Haun and Pahrump's Dalton Beighley each carded an 81.
