Montgomery, Falcons win Pahrump Valley Invite

Taylor Montgomery carded a 3-over-par 75 at Mountain Falls on Tuesday to earn the individual title and help Foothill’s boys golf team win the Pahrump Valley Invitational.

Montgomery had a 36-hole total of 2-over 146, good for a nine-stroke win over Green Valley teammates Blaise McComb and Jordan Green.

Foothill’s Nick Rae was fourth at 156.

The Falcons shot 622 as a team to nip Green Valley (633) for the Gold Flight team title.

Arbor View won the Silver Flight with a 675, 32 strokes better than Needles.

Green Valley’s Blue team took the Maroon Flight with a score of 725, edging River Valley (Ariz.) by three strokes.

Foothill’s Nick Grinder (159) was the Silver Flight medalist, and Arbor View’s Christian Coleman (180) was the top individual in the Maroon Flight.
