ROUNDUP: Kirby leads Coronado boys to Southeast League win

Michael Kirby fired a 1-over-par 73 at Stallion Mountain on Monday to lead Coronado’s boys golf team to victory in a Southeast League match.

Coronado shot 393 to edge Foothill by three strokes. Basic finished third at 487, followed by Liberty at 540 and Eldorado at 570.

Taylor Montgomery of Foothill took medalist honors with a 2-under 70.

Matt Welch shot a 74 for Coronado, and teammates Michael Alvarez (75) and Bradley Keyer (76) rounded out the top five.

Panthers edge Green Valley
At Badlands, Bradley Collet shot 1-over-par 37 to help Palo Verde top Green Valley 204-208.

Joe Ender added a 39 for the Panthers.

Green Valley’s Blaise McComb was the medalist with a 36, and teammate Jordan Green shot 39.
