ROUNDUP: Burns propels Green Valley girls past Rams

Courtney Burns won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 25.37 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 1:02.65 on Saturday at Multi-Generational to help Green Valley’s girls swimming team defeat Rancho, 205-92.

Rancho’s Tonicia Thomas won the 100 backstroke (1:00.05) and the 200 individual medley (2:16.01).

Las Vegas 152, Valley 125 — At Multi-Generational, Gabbi Blackburn won the 200 individual medley in 2:48.19 and the 100 freestyle in 1:08.55 to help the Wildcats top the Vikings.

Coronado 232, Eldorado 62 — At Multi-Generational, Kelsey Fillmore and Katie Obell each won two individual events as the Cougars topped the Sundevils.

Fillmore won the 200 freestyle in 2:14.02 and the 500 freestyle in 5:59.81, and Obell claimed the 50 freestyle in 26.55 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.27.

Cimarron-Memorial 147, Bonanza 124 — At Municipal, Cambridge Guerrero won the 200 individual medley (2:21.9) and 100 butterfly (1:06.0) to power the Spartans over the Bengals.

Palo Verde 201, Spring Valley 81 — At Pavilion, Isabella Goldsmith, Kasdyn Rafie and Hailey Houck each won two individual events, and the Panthers swept all 12 events en route to a win over the Grizzlies.

Goldsmith took the 200 freestyle in 1:57.52 and the 100 backstroke in 1:02.43.

Rafie won the 200 individual medley (2:23.4) and the 100 butterfly (1:06.43), and Houck claimed the 50 freestyle (26.66) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.97).

Foothill 181, Basic 100 — At Multi-Generational, Marley Bindrup won two events to help the Falcons top the Wolves.

Bindrup won the 200 individual medley in 2:21.49, and the 100 butterlfy in 1:03.88.

Boulder City 172, Tech 100 — At Multi-Generational, Jessica Purdy and Rebecca Lelles each won twice as the Eagles beat the Roadrunners.

Purdy was first in the 100 butterfly (1:02.53) and 500 freestyle (5:33.81), and Lelles won the 200 individual medley (2:18.33) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.55).

Liberty 146, Del Sol 59 — At Multi-Generational, Kayleen Flint and Sasha Guo won two events apiece as the Patriots beat the Dragons.

Flint was first in the 200 freestyle (2:46.98) and 100 butterfly (1:26.26). Guo won the 200 individual medley (2:44.49) and 100 breaststroke (1:20.41).

Bishop Gorman 225, Desert Oasis 75 ­­— At Pavilion, the Gaels won every event, with Marley Maluafiti, Lindsey Englestead and Olivia Barker each taking two individual events, in an easy win over the Diamondbacks.

Maluafiti won the 200 individual medley (2:15.78) and 100 backstroke (1:06.18), Englestead took the 200 freestyle (2:02.72) and 100 freestyle (57.72), and Barker won the 500 freestyle (5:10.94) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.27) for the Gaels.

Silverado 240, Canyon Springs 34 — At Pavilion, the Skyhawks won every event to beat the Pioneers.

Silverado’s Gabriella Graham was first in the 200 individual medley (2:20.09) and 100 butterfly (1:03.34). Kyleigh Brigman added wins in the 500 freestyle (6:13.6) and 100 backstroke (1:13.47) for the Skyhawks.

Centennial 220, Legacy 62 — At Pavilion, the Bulldogs won every event led by double-winner Maddie Lipkowitz.

Lipkowitz won the 100 butterfly (1:06.35) and 500 freestyle (5:41.97) for Centennial.

Clark 206, Mojave 43 — Jayla Thirtyacre and Emma Davis each won twice as the Chargers rolled past the Rattlers.

Thirtyacre won the 100 breaststroke (1:21.37) and 200 individual medley (2:38.12). Davis was first in the 100 freestyle (1:04.75) and 200 freestyle (2:28.68).

Desert Pines 122, Sunrise Mountain 95 — At Municipal, Becca Hernandez finished first in the 200 freestyle in 2:44.72 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:36.87 to propel the Jaguars past the Miners.

Gabby Hernandez claimed first in the 50 freestyle (30.3) and the 100 butterfly (1:33.12) for Desert Pines, which also got first-place finishes from Xiomara Barahona in the 200 individual medley (3:16.05) and the 100 freestyle (1:10.42).

Arbor View 198, Sierra Vista 100 — At Pavilion, the Aggies topped the Mountain Lions.

Sierra Vista’s Polina Frolova won the 200 inividual medley (2:32.63) and 100 freestyle (1:00.58), and teammate Isabella Green took the 100 breaststroke (1:14.63) and 100 butterfly (1:05.38).

Shadow Ridge 178, Durango 108 —
At Pavilion, Kelle Crownover won the 200 individual medley (2:42.12) and 100 freestyle (1:07.57) to lead the Mustangs over the Trailblazers.

Kelsey Lanza took the 100 backstroke (1:26.01) and 50 freestyle (30.62) for Durango. 

Chaparral beats Moapa Valley, Virgin Valley
At Municipal, Summer Luchsinger won both the 200 freestyle (1:59.02) and the 50 freestyle (26.12) to lift the Cowboys to wins over Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley.

Kaitlin Angell finished first in the 200 individual medley (3:14.48) and the 100 butterfly (1:38) for Chaparral, which defeated Moapa Valley 119-82 and Virgin Valley 119-72.
