ROUNDUP: Logan leads Eagles to Sunrise meet victory

Luke Logan carded a 4-over-par 76 at Boulder City Golf Course on Thursday to lead Boulder City’s boys golf team to a victory in a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles shot 416. Needles was second at 436. Moapa Valley (493) was the only other school to post a team score.

Virgin Valley’s Kadan Atkin shot 78.

Davis, Shadow Ridge beat Centennial
At Paiute, Ben Davis took medalist honors with a 1-under 35 to help Shadow Ridge defeat Centennial, which didn’t have a complete team.

Tanner Johnson added a 42 for the Mustangs, who shot 238.

Joshua James led Centennial with a 41.

Aggies edge Falcons
At Silverstone, Sam Dickey shot 3-under 33 to lead Arbor View to a 188-189 victory over Foothill

Andrew Chu led Foothill with a 34. Taylor Montgomery shot 35 and Erik Smith 36 for the Falcons.

Cougars tame Panthers
At Anthem, Michael Alvarez shot an even-par 36 to help Coronado’s boys golf team to a 190-212 victory over Palo Verde.

Matt Welch added a 37, and Grant McKay shot 38 for the Cougars.

Palo Verde’s Joe Ender shot 38.

Gorman beats Trojans
At Bear’s Best, Christian James shot a 2-under 70 to lead Bishop Gorman to a 372-496 win over Pahrump Valley.

Frank Frisbee and Bryce McEachern each shot 73 for the Gaels. Ben Schlichting and Anthony Lalli each carded 78 for Gorman.
