Top athletes: Dominic Smallwood (Jr.), Jonathan Aman (Sr.), Daniel Savage (Jr.), Michael Tyll (Jr.), Ryan Crame (So.), Ryan Contorelli (Sr.), Vernon Jackson (Fr.), Justin Troyer (Sr.)

Outlook: Smallwood is a threat in the jumps, and the Skyhawks also are hoping for good things from Aman in the distance events and Contorelli in the throws.

"Silverado is lacking the depth we have had in the past," Oliver said. "We will have a small team, but will still be looking to compete with some quality athletes."

The Liberty girls track team won the Class 5A state title Saturday, snapping Centennial’s run of 10 straight crowns. Liberty and Faith Lutheran are boys co-champions.
