Boulder City 2013 Boys Golf Capsule

BOULDER CITY

Head coach: Regina Quintero, fourth season

Returning lettermen: Eight

Top golfers: Luke Logan (So.), T.J. Hatfield (Sr.), Tyler Barton (Sr.), Christian Hudleson (So.), Kyle Effetz (Jr.), Marcus Walker (Jr.), R.J. Mortensen (Sr.), Chris Fairchild (Jr.)

Outlook: Logan was the Class 3A state runnerup last season, and Hatfield placed ninth in the state meet.

"I am looking for the team to be very competitive, even in the new Division I-A," Quintero said. "Our top eight players are returners from last year and have some experience playing in tournaments.

"It will be interesting to see how they stack up against the old Class 4A players who now are in Division I. I think we will be extremely competitive, and I think we might some surprise some people."
