Arbor View 2013 Girls Track Capsule

ARBOR VIEW

Head coach: Tyrel Cooper, seventh season

Top athletes: Zanae Jones (Jr.), Janae Strode (So.), DaQuanda Clay (Sr.), Jocelyn Jordan (Jr.)

Outlook: Jones comes in off a strong cross country season and will be a threat in the distance events.

Clay is back after qualifying for regionals in her first season last year.

"I am looking for her to compete with the top girls in our region this year," Cooper said.

"We should have some other distance girls step up, and Strode will need her teammates to fill the gaps around her in the sprints in order for our team to be competitive," Cooper added. "We are looking for a top-three finish in the region as a team."
