ROUNDUP: Cabanas, DeSantiago lead Del Sol girls to first win

Chloe Cabanas scored 25 points, and Melissa DeSantiago added 13 points and 15 rebounds Monday to help Del Sol’s girls basketball team collect its first victory of the year with a 63-55 win at Clark.

Rela Coleman added 13 points for the Dragons, who outscored the Chargers 33-25 in the second half.

Karllicia Stroughther paced the Chargers with 27 points, and teammate Bobbi Floyd added 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Sierra Vista 48, Pahrump Valley 21 — At Sierra Vista, The Lions led 27-10 at the half and cruised to victory over the Trojans.

Enas Ajaj scored 11 points, and teammate Melia Tadytin added 10 points for Sierra Vista.

Valley 64, Shadow Ridge 26 — At Valley, Kennedy Wharton had 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Vikings in a rout of the Mustangs.

Gabby Cabanero had 17 points, nine steals and four assists, and Beth Seyoum had seven points and nine rebounds for Valley.

Brandii Starks scored nine points for Shadow Ridge.

Needles 46, River Valley (Ariz.) 33 —
At Needles, Kayla Hills scored 14 points, and Abby Chandler added 10 points to lead the Mustangs over the Dust Devils.

Demi Limon scored 13 points to lead River Valley.
