ROUNDUP: Corneos’ late goal lifts Foothill boys past Patriots

Aaryn Corneos scored from 16 yards out in the final minute Wednesday to lift Foothill’s boys soccer team to a 4-3 win over visiting Liberty.
Corneos, who also had two assists, beat two defenders before firing a shot from just inside the box.
Robby Cowan had two goals and an assist, and Mason Reid added a goal and an assist for the Falcons.
Danny Musovski had two goals and an assist, and Adam Musovski supplied a goal and an assist for the Patriots.
Shadow Ridge 2, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Blake Damato scored to help the Mustangs grab a 2-0 second-half lead and hold off the Mountain Lions.
Shadow Ridge took a 1-0 halftime lead on an own goal.
Truitt Evans tallied Sierra Vista’s goal.
Durango 3, Arbor View 2 — At Durango, Cristoval Magana, Wasajja Walugembe and Raul Pacheco each had a goal as the Trailblazers edged the Aggies.
Christian Jaramillo and Daniel Rivas notched the Aggies’ goals.
Green Valley 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Gitai Gazala and Daniel Valdez each had a second-half goal to lead the Gators by the Pioneers.
Bryant Peralta made three saves to earn the shutout for Green Valley.
Palo Verde 4, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Josh Lockwood scored three goals, and teammate Austin Pollster added another as the Panthers downed the Grizzlies.
Joey Padfield scored for Spring Valley.
Del Sol 0, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, the Dragons and Cougars played to a scoreless tie.
Del Sol’s Juan Mendoza and Coronado’s Cody Capps each recorded a shutout.
Las Vegas 8, Silverado 0 — At Las Vegas, Estevan Benavides had two goals and two assists to help the Wildcats down the Skyhawks.
Abraham Paz and Alan Garcia each added two goals, Adrian Pinal had a goal and an assist, and Michael Pedraza scored once for Las Vegas.
Enrique Adame had three saves to record the shutout.
Eldorado 10, Basic 0 — At Basic, Chris Perez rang up five goals and two assists, and Juan Contreras scored twice to power the Sundevils past the Wolves.
Edgar Duran had a goal and three assists, and Andres Lua supplied a goal and an assist for Eldorado, which also got a goal from Victor Damian.
Sebastian Arreaga was in goal for the shutout.
Rancho 11, Valley 1 — At Rancho, Aaron Ortiz notched six goals and an assist as the Rams ran away from the Vikings.
Hector Martinez had two goals, and Brandon Contreras contributed a goal and four assists for Rancho. Miguel Diaz-Ortiz had a goal and two assists, and Francisco Rodriguez also scored for the Rams.
Javier Rodriguez scored for Valley.
