ROUNDUP: McNally helps Desert Shields top Western

Erin McNally served seven aces and had five kills Tuesday to help Cheyenne’s girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-15, 11-25, 28-26 home win over Western.

Jenna Mecham added nine kills, and Beverly Garcia had three kills and seven assists for the Desert Shields.

Odalys Garcia led Western with 11 digs. Capricia Pierce supplied three digs, two kills and two blocks for the Warriors.

Pahrump Valley 3, Clark 2 — At Pahrump, Bryanna Soliwada dished out 17 assists, and Payton Hart had 11 kills to help the Trojans outlast the Chargers, 25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 21-25, 15-9.

Shayla Dance had eight blocks for Pahrump.

Shelly Tang had 12 kills and three blocks, and June Roberts provided 12 kills and two aces for Clark. Emi Afanoa added 11 kills and two blocks, and Schea Mores contributed 21 digs, six kills and three aces for the Chargers.

Las Vegas 3, Valley 0 —
At Las Vegas High, Marissa Lair had nine kills, and Matti Ventling dished out 17 assists to lead the Wildcats to a 25-13, 25-11, 25-8 sweep of the Vikings.

Anjelica Ashworth had seven digs and three aces, and Charlai Francis added five kills for Las Vegas.

Green Valley 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Nikki Drost had 10 kills and four digs to help the Gators roll past the Rams, 25-11, 25-9, 25-16.

Jenna Swaffer dished out 26 assists, and Carly Schiess provided nine kills, four digs and three aces for Green Valley, which got nine kills and two aces from Shanna Olsen.

Kayla Coles had four kills and six digs, and Danielle Carino added two kills and six digs for Rancho, which got three kills and two digs from Monet Wilson.

Silverado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Silverado, Morgan Little had 24 assists and four aces to help the Skyhawks beat the Pioneers, 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

Kayla Agae added nine kills and three aces, and Lauren Purdy had four kills for Silverado. Quintana Reid added five digs for the Skyhawks.

Caroline Fau led Canyon Springs with five kills. Summer Asturi provided 20 digs, and Emily Tuala served four aces for the Pioneers.

Palo Verde 3, Arbor View 0 — At Palo Verde, Stephanie Herman rang up 28 assists, seven digs, five aces and three kills, and Kendall Cheval recorded 12 kills, eight digs and two aces as the Panthers beat the Aggies 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

McCall Phillips supplied nine digs and seven kills for Palo Verde.

Jenna McClure had seven kills and three aces, and Sam Bales added five blocks and three kills for Arbor View.

Spring Valley 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Nicole Rafay had nine kills, six digs, five blocks and five assists to lead the Grizzlies to a 25-21, 26-24, 25-19 victory over the Trailblazers.

Hannah Karas had 18 digs, and Jessica Rafay added six digs and five kills for Spring Valley, which got seven digs and five kills from Rachel Milam.

Carly Taylor led Durango with 25 assists, and teammate Hailee Wilson added 10 digs and eight kills. Precious Williams had nine kills and four aces, and Cheyanne Haas added six kills for the Trailblazers.

Faith Lutheran 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Gianni Perryman and Megan Panikkar had 15 assists apiece to lead the Crusaders to a 25-5, 25-6, 25-17 victory over the Rattlers.

Taylor Hammer added eight kills and six assists, and Sam Leonard had five kills for Faith Lutheran.

Ashley Persico led Mojave with 11 digs.

Lake Mead 3, Laughlin 1 — At Lake Mead, Taylor Vetter had 20 kills and four digs, and Megan Watkins supplied 29 assists, 18 digs, three kills and three aces as the Eagles downed the Cougars, 25-13, 25-10, 22-25, 25-14.

Shannon Regan had 11 kills and four aces, and Jenette Hensley added 13 digs and six aces for Lake Mead, which got 10 digs and two assists from Rachael Watkins.

Beatty 3, Adelson School 0 —
At Beatty, Krystie Hensyel served eight of the Hornets’ 26 aces in a 25-12, 25-11, 25-20 win over the Lions.

Melynda Gross had six aces, five kills and four digs for Beatty.
