ROUNDUP: Durango boys blank Vikings

Paris Estrada had two goals and an assist, and Wasajja Walugembe added two goals Friday to lead Durango’s boys soccer team to a 6-0 win over visiting Valley.

Raul Pacheco and Damian Baum also scored for the Trailblazers, who got two assists from Cristoval Magana.

Andres Caldera and Richard Zavala combined on the shutout, with each making three saves.

GIRLS

Faith Lutheran 2, Palo Verde 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Kristi Chinn’s goal midway through the second half broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Crusaders past the Panthers.

Dani Tharaldson also scored a first-half goal for Faith Lutheran.

Serenity Grim tallied a first-half goal for Palo Verde.
