ROUNDUP: Chaparral girls take four of top five spots, beat Moapa Valley

Chaparral’s girls cross country team claimed four of the top five spots on Tuesday as the Cowboys topped host Moapa Valley, 21-39.
Moapa Valley’s Kacy Udall won the 2.7-mile race in 20 minutes, 56.3 seconds.
Chaparral’s Linda Sue Luchsinger was second in 23:38.9, and teammate Jenny Berrelleza took third in 24:32.5.
Jaguars use depth to beat Miners, Roadrunners
At Desert Pines, the Jaguars claimed four of the top seven spots on their way to victory in a three-team meet.
Desert Pines scored 30 points, topping Sunrise Mountain (35) and Tech (67).
Tech’s Taylor Coss won the 2.8-mile race in 20:10.
Sunrise Mountain’s Ebonique Diaz was second in 20:35, and Desert Pines’ Kenia Lopez took third in 21:25.
Badger, Bulldogs dominate Gorman
At Centennial, Sydney Badger won a 3.1-mile race in 18:49 to lead the Bulldogs to a 15-42 victory over Bishop Gorman.
Centennial had the top five finishers for a perfect score of 15.
Katie Gorczyca was second in 19:27, and Arden Holden took third in 21:00.
Gators rout Rams
At Rancho, Lindy Eskin won a 3.1-mile race in 23:11 to lead Green Valley to a 19-41 victory over the Rams.
Green Valley’s Stacie Hall took second in 23:12, and teammate Sage Andress was third in 23:21.
Jones leads Aggies past Panthers
At Floyd Lamb Park, Zanae Jones won a 2.9-mile race in 19:22 to lead Arbor View to a 22-36 victory over Palo Verde.
Palo Verde’s Bailey Dunlap was second in 20:17, and Arbor View’s Shayla Jenkins took third in 20:24.
Holleran, Crusaders rout Desert Shields
At Cheyenne, Leah Holleran won a 2.6-mile race in 19:06, leading the Crusaders to a win over the Desert Shields.
Faith Lutheran scored 15 points to win, as Cheyenne did not have a complete team.
Cheyenne’s Jazmine Moore finished second in 19:41, and Jasmine Buchanan placed third in 20:43 for the Desert Shields.
Grizzlies roll past Mountain Lions
At Spring Valley, the Grizzlies took the top five spots to finish with 15 points, beating Sierra Vista, which had just two runners.
Kristina White won the 3.1-mile race in 22:08 to lead Spring Valley.
Dort, Cougars cruise past Eldorado
At Sonata Park, Sara Dort won a 2.8-mile race in 19:12.7 to lead the Cougars to a 15-50 victory over Eldorado.
Coronado took the top seven spots. Kristen Morrill was second in 19:17.7, followed by Logan Lucas in 19:21.5.
Falcons dominate Patriots
At Foothill, Ryanne Bailey won a 2.5-mile race in 16:40.1 to lead the Falcons to a 15-50 rout of Liberty.
Foothill took the top seven spots. Raegan Janda was second in 17:18.2, and Alyse Vanek took third in 17:31.1.
