ROUNDUP: Foreman guides Durango girls past Grizzlies

Sabrina Foreman went 3-0 in singles Friday to lead Durango’s girls tennis team to a 12-6 win at Spring Valley.

Jamie Wong and Brittany Gomez were 3-0 in doubles for the Trailblazers.

Lea Kirtchner went 2-1 in singles for the Grizzlies.

Bonanza 13, Legacy 5— At Legacy, the Bengals had three doubles teams each go 2-0 on their way to a win over the Longhorns.

Bonanza’s teams of Emma Nelson and Kayla Sylvester, Alexis Groom and Mia Mallette, and Sarai Saucedo and Mellin Haidl all went 2-0.

Shadow Ridge 11, Arbor View 7— At Shadow Ridge, Kayley Green and Angelica Ong went 3-0 in doubles, and Sierra Brooks was 2-1 in singles as the Mustangs topped the Aggies.

Elen Safarian went 3-0 in singles for Arbor View.

Eldorado 12, Del Sol 6 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of Yoli Carrillo and Dora Carrillo, and Jasmine Sanchez and Kerrigan Holman each went 3-0 as the Sundevils topped the Dragons.

Boulder City 13, Chaparral 5— At Chaparral, Aiyana Donske went 3-0 in singles to lift the Eagles past Chaparral.

Taylor Finn was 2-1 in singles, and Arianne Hess and Alexis LeMaster went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Centennial 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 —
At Centennial, Michella Albright went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Danielle Gordon and Savannah Sgro went 2-0 to lead the Bulldogs past the Spartans.

Justine Felix was 2-1 in singles and Tiersa Schultz and Lilly Garcia were 2-1 in doubles for Cimarron.

Coronado 15, Basic 3 — At Coronado, the doubles teams of Olivia Arriola and Tiffany Nguyen, and Natalie Klock and Valeriya Nogotkova each went 3-0 to lead the Cougars by the Wolves.

Faith Lutheran 14, Western 4 — At Western, the Crusaders topped the Warriors.

Western’s Cierra White was 3-0 in singles.

Palo Verde 17, Sierra Vista 1 — At Palo Verde, Bronte Rath and Anahit Urfalyan each went 3-0 in singles as the Panthers downed the Mountain Lions.

Palo Verde’s doubles teams of Michaela Jackson and Caroline Ramous, and Shannon Dean and Ryann Shepherd each went 2-0.

Clark 14, Cheyenne 4— At Clark, Andrea Busicescu and Abbey Escala each went 1-0 in singles as the Chargers downed the Desert Shields..

Desert Pines 12, Sunrise Mountain 6 —
 At Sunrise Mountain, the Jaguars topped the Miners.

Moapa Valley 10, Virgin Valley 8 —
At Mesquite, the Pirates edged the Bulldogs.

The Meadows 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Virgin Valley 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Mesquite, Kadan Atkin was 3-0 in singles, and Nate Hughes and Jacob Mikkelsen went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bulldogs past the Pirates.

Blake Leavitt was 2-0 in singles, and Blake Brandes and Tyler Hughes were 2-0 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

Bonanza 10, Legacy 8— At Legacy, Andrew Malek and Jacob Mabey went 3-0 in doubles as the Bengals tamed the Longhorns.

Jeffery Liang was 3-0 in singles for Bonanza.

Jimmy Hou and Sam Moody were 2-1 in doubles for Legacy.

Chaparral 11, Boulder City 7 —
At Chaparral, Nick Hansen and Abe Ibrarra each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Cowboys by the Eagles.

Eric Gros and Daniel Henderson were 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Eldorado 11, Del Sol 7 — At Eldorado, Joey Barnhurst and Seattle Stoneback went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Sundevils past the Dragons.

Trevor Swain was 2-0 in singles for Eldorado.

Mike DeLeon and Nick Trujillo went 2-1 in doubles for Del Sol.

Centennial 11, Cimarron-Memorial 7 — At Centennial, the doubles teams of Dallan Johnson and Greg Madsen, and Parker McDonough and Ricky Koplov each went 2-0 as the Bulldogs topped the Spartans.

Brady Osborne was 2-1 in singles, and Taylor Larsen and James Salls were 2-1 in doubles for Cimarron.

Faith Lutheran 13, Western 5 — At Western, Jack Stevens went 3-0 in singles to guide the Crusaders by the Warriors.

Steven Glad and Braeden Smith were 3-0 in doubles for Western.

Clark 14, Cheyenne 4— At Clark, Kenny Daniels went 2-0 in singles to lead the Chargers past the Desert Shields.

Michael Worthy was 2-1 in singles for Cheyenne.

Spring Valley 15, Durango 3 — At Spring Valley, the doubles teams of Garett Nelson and Michael McLaughlin, and Adam Lychuk and Kenny Tran each went 3-0 as the Grizzlies defeated the Trailblazers.

Coronado 15, Basic 3 — At Coronado, the doubles teams of Patrick Crockett and Michael Boyd, and Jack Vance and Jamie Vance both went 3-0 to lead the Cougars by the Wolves.

Palo Verde 18, Sierra Vista 0 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers swept the Mountain Lions.

Arbor View at Shadow Ridge — At Shadow Ridge, the Aggies and Mustangs had their match suspended by darkness after the teams split their 18 regulation sets. The tiebreaker is scheduled to be played on Tuesday.

The Meadows 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Desert Pines 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 —
