ROUNDUP: Hicks scores twice to power Faith Lutheran to invitational title

D’Khari Hicks scored two goals to help Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team overcome an early 1-0 deficit Saturday and down Payson (Ariz.), 3-2 in the championship match of the Show Low Invitational in Show Low, Ariz.
Randal Colquitt also scored for the Crusaders, who led 2-1 at halftime on their way to capturing the title in the nine-team tourney.
Faith Lutheran 3, Show Low (Ariz.) 0 — At Show Low, Ariz., Hicks netted all three goals to propel the Crusaders into the title match with a win over the host school.
Carter Bishop made four saves to earn the shutout.
Canyon Springs 10, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Jonathan Martinez and Mario Corral each had three goals and an assist as the Pioneers ran away from the Pirates.
Gaspar Gonzalez scored twice, and Alan Meza and Ezequiel Chavarria each added a goal for Canyon Springs.
Mike Ortega made one save en route to the shutout.
