ROUNDUP: Torres leads Longhorns to win over Trailblazers

Brayden Torres went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI on Saturday to help host Legacy’s baseball team to a 5-1 win over Durango.
Devon Bigby and Avery Brandon each added two hits for the Longhorns.
Kyle Peeler and Brandon combined on a seven-hitter for Legacy.
Dante Chavez had two hits, including a double, for the Trailblazers.
Foothill 7, Boulder City 3 — At CSN, Bligh Madris went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and the Falcons built a 6-0 lead in the third inning on their way to a win over the Eagles.
Colton Schulz was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Boulder City.
Lincoln County 5-4, Calvary Chapel 3-1 — At Panaca, Ryan Rippetoe and Colton Johnson tossed a pair of gems as the Lynx swept a doubleheader from the Lions.
Rippetoe fired a two-hitter, allowing just one earned run, and striking out 10 in the opener. Johnson followed it up with a three-hit, 12-strikeout effort in the nightcap.
Calvary Chapel’s Steven Shigley spun a three-hitter and struck out 11 in the second game.
SOFTBALL
Lincoln County 21-18, Calvary Chapel 0-0 — At Panaca, Elle Scott fired a no-hitter in the opener, and K.C. McCrosky tossed a one-hitter in the nightcap as the Lynx swept a pair of five-inning games from the Lions.
Scott struck out 10 in the first game and got plenty of offensive support.
Kaylee Teel was 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Hatty Brown went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double for Lincoln County. Britten Hafen was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Scott drove in two runs.
In the nightcap, McCrosky fanned 11. Kourtney Gloeckner was 3-for-3 with a pair of triples, and Chanel Adamson went 2-for-3 with a homer for Lincoln County.
Lexi Robinson was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Teel went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and three RBIs for the Lynx.
