ROUNDUP: Lim leads Patriot boys past Wildcats

Gil Lim went 2-0 in singles play Tuesday as Liberty’s boys tennis team posted a 12-6 home win over Las Vegas High.

Faith Lutheran 14, Durango 4 — At Durango, Jake Benowitz was 3-0 in singles to lead the Crusaders to an easy win over the Trailblazers.

Alex Zelenovic went 2-1 in singles for Durango.

Virgin Valley 14, Moapa Valley 4 — At Mesquite, Addison Vanhouten went 3-0 in singles play to help the Bulldogs roll the Pirates.

Blake Leavitt and Jacob Osorio were 3-0 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

Legacy 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Longhorns won by forfeit.

GIRLS

Liberty 14, Las Vegas 4 — At Liberty, Aphrah Brokaw went 2-0 in singles play as the Patriots downed the Wildcats.

Legacy 13, Canyon Springs 5 — At Canyon Springs, Alex Lizzio went 2-1 in singles play to help the Longhorns down the Pioneers.

Christian Earl went 3-0 in singles to lead Canyon Springs.

Moapa Valley 10, Virgin Valley 8 — At Mesquite, Holly Rust and Malissa Otero were 3-0 in doubles as the Pirates edged the Bulldogs.

Faith Lutheran 12, Durango 0 — At Durango, the Crusaders were winners by forfeit.
