ROUNDUP: Burdasch paces Pioneer girls past Patriots

Cindy Burdasch won a pair of individual events Saturday to help Canyon Springs’ girls swimming team roll to a 135-88 win over Liberty at Pavilion.
Burdasch took the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 25.31 seconds and the 500 freestyle in 7:25.54.
Liberty’s Katelyn Wolford took the 50 freestyle (31.03) and 200 freestyle (2:44.75).
Durango 141, Spring Valley 112 — At Pavilion, Brenda Becerra captured the 100 freestyle in 1:02.6 and the 100 backstroke in 1:11.1 to lead the Trailblazers past the Grizzlies.
Spring Valley’s Katelyn Faulk won the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.78 and the 200 individual medley in 2:40.94.
Rancho 154, Desert Pines 65 — At Pavilion, the Rams swept the relay events and won eight of the 11 contested events to top the Jaguars.
Desert Pines’ Xiomara Barahona won the 200 individual medley in 3:03.31 and the 100 backstroke in 1:23.55.
Bonanza 181, Sierra Vista 97 — At Pavilion, Katharine Essa captured the 100 (1:02.17) and 200 freestyles (2:25.07) as the Bengals rolled past the Mountain Lions.
Sierra Vista’s Anamey Nava won the 100 backstroke in 1:08.31 and the 100 butterfly in 1:09.1. The Mountain Lions’ Nicole Phillips won the 50 freestyle (28.06) and 500 freestyle (6:17.3), and teammate Taylor Price took the 100 breaststroke (1:26.63) and 200 individual medley (2:53.9).
Coronado 181, Desert Oasis 121 — At Pavilion, Sammy Harrison, Nicole Mertel and Christina Bloom each took two events to pace the Cougars past the Diamondbacks.
Harrison won the 200 individual medley in 2:19.9 and the 500 freestyle in 5:04.58. Mertel took the 50 freestyle in 26.06 and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.34, and Bloom captured the 100 freestyle in 1:01.19 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.32.
Green Valley 223, Palo Verde 86 — At Pavilion, Carlee Oswald, Smaranda Georgescu and Hannah Marrujo each captured two events to help the Gators storm past the Panthers.
Oswald won the 200 individual medley in 2:15.93 and the 100 backstroke in 1:02.37. Georgescu took the 50 freestyle in 25.39 and the 100 butterfly in 1:02.5, and Marrujo won the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.08 and the 100 freestyle in 57.03.
Centennial 198, Shadow Ridge 102 — At Desert Breeze, the Bulldogs swept the relays and posted five individual winners to take the victory from the Mustangs.
Clark 175, Eldorado 96 — At Desert Breeze, Kimberly Sasler won the 100 butterfly in 1:16.97 and the 100 freestyle in 1:06.61 to lead the Chargers past the Sundevils.
Eldorado’s Lynnette Molitor took the 100 breaststroke in 1:26.24 and the 200 freestyle in 2:18.24.
Arbor View 199, Legacy 90 — At Desert Breeze, Kristen Letkiewicz and Linsey Tschetter won two events apiece to help the Aggies top the Longhorns.
Letkiewicz won the 200 freestyle (2:27.1) and 500 freestyle (6:27.75), and Tschetter captured the 200 individual medley in 2:51.16 and the 100 backstroke in 1:17.96.
Legacy’s Janice Conte won the 50 freestyle (27.62) and 100 freestyle (1:06.82).
Cimarron-Memorial 191, Faith Lutheran 110 — At Desert Breeze, Cambridge Guerrero, Amanda Guerrero and Tzu Lin combined to win six individual events and lead the Spartans past the Crusaders.
Cambridge Guerrero won the 200 individual medley in 2:17.09 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.19. Amanda Guerrero captured the 50 freestyle (26.84) and 500 freestyle (5:40.75), and Lin claimed the 100 butterfly in 1:05.66 and the 100 backstroke in 1:02.74.
Silverado 180, Foothill 122 — At Multi-Generational, Mako Hosono, Mallory Harris and Gabriella Graham combined to collect six individual wins as the Skyhawks topped the Falcons.
Hosono won the 100 (1:03.62) and 200 freestyles (2:12.21). Harris claimed the 100 backstroke in 1:08.73 and the 100 butterfly in 1:02.31, and Graham took the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.37 and the 200 individual medley in 2:24.17.
Boulder City 145, Bishop Gorman 140 — At Multi-Generational, Cori Molisee and Megan Purdy each took two individual events to help the Eagles nip the Gaels.
Molisee won the 50 freestyle (24.82) and 100 freestyle (54.16), and Purdy won the 200 (1:55.91) and 500 freestyles (5:09.16).
Gorman’s Olivia Barker captured the 100 backstroke in 1:00.45 and the 100 butterfly in 57.92.
Las Vegas 151, Valley 115 — At Multi-Generational, Whitney Otto won a pair of individual events to lead the Wildcats past the Vikings.
Otto took the 50 freestyle in 29.43 and the 100 freestyle in 1:07.5.
Valley’s Julie Dotson won the 100 butterfly in 1:08.17 and the 200 individual medley in 2:37.25.
