ROUNDUP: Whiting helps Bonanza stay hot, down Centennial

Craig Whiting racked up 41 assists, and Price Jarman supplied 23 kills and eight blocks to help lead host Bonanza to a 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 32-30 victory over Centennial on Wednesday.
Kenny Desoto had 13 digs for Bonanza, which improved to 3-0, all against teams that qualified for postseason play last year.
Leo Durkin had 19 kills, and Ryan Ramin added 12 kills for Centennial, which got 36 assists from Mike Robinson.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Tanner Maxwell had seven kills and 14 assists to lead the Spartans past the Rams, 25-15, 15-25, 25-16, 25-17.
Hunter Stratton added nine kills and six digs, and teammate Braydon Egbert supplied seven kills and five digs for Cimarron.
Matt Brown had three aces and seven digs, and R’Mond Hill added five blocks for Rancho.
Silverado 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Silverado, Steven Jex had four kills and five blocks as the Skyhawks rolled to a 25-10, 25-15, 25-16 sweep of the Mountain Lions.
Jordan Royal added four kills and four aces for Silverado.
Paulo Lee had 11 assists for Sierra Vista, and Khrumm Fahim supplied four kills.
Del Sol 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Eric Beil had 13 kills, seven digs and three aces to lead the Dragons to a 25-13, 25-17, 25-17 victory over the Trailblazers.
Kevin Fitzpatrick added nine kills, and Nick Maglaras distributed 31 assists for Del Sol.
Rontraye Rainey and Paris Estrada each had five kills, and Dex Alston had 10 digs for Durango.
Desert Pines 3, Mojave 0 — At Desert Pines, Tony Savea had 16 assists and three blocks, and Tui Pootasi served seven aces to help the Jaguars to a 25-22, 25-21, 25-23 victory over the Rattlers.
Michael Gipson added nine kills for Desert Pines.
Basic 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Tanner Humphreys had 11 kills and eight digs, and John Fitz added 26 assists as the Wolves swept the Chargers, 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.
Weston Crum added 10 kills, and Zach Betz supplied four blocks for Basic.
Joe Wang had five kills, and Johnny Phane added three kills for Clark.
Legacy 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Legacy, Chris Reyes had nine aces and three digs as the Longhorns downed the Pioneers, 25-14, 25-15, 25-17.
Erik Valerio added 16 assists, and Jeremiah Hall contributed two aces and seven kills for Legacy.
Immanuel Tufuga had four assists, and Alkeley Harris had three kills for Canyon Springs.
