ROUNDUP: Marlett powers Rancho past Desert Oasis

Winning pitcher Amber Marlett went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two runs scored and two RBIs on Wednesday to lead Rancho’s softball team to an 11-7 win at Desert Oasis.
Aly Lamboo was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles for Rancho, which scored five runs in the fifth inning.
Holly O’Hara went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and two RBIs, and Briona Santovito went 3-for-4 with a triple, a run and two RBIs for Desert Oasis. C.J. Wilson was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs, and Natasha Chapman went 3-for-5 for the Diamondbacks.
Coronado 19, Cheyenne 7 — At Coronado, Breanna Portese went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs, and the Cougars scored 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth to rout the Desert Shields.
Lee Harrison had a double and a triple, and Morgan Yuhas was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Coronado.
Durango 4, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Durango, Marley Sandoval was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs to lead the Trailblazers past the Spartans.
Nicole Schultz went 2-for-3 for Durango.
Hannah Williams hit 3-for-4 to lead Cimarron.
Spring Valley 11, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Grizzlies scored eight runs in the top of the third en route to the five-inning win.
Ashlee Coate threw a four-hitter with four strikeouts to get the victory.
Silverado 7, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Taylee Heckman had a home run and a double, and Riana Splinter doubled and tripled as the Skyhawks blanked the host Crusaders.
Aly Kosinski tossed a five-hitter with seven strikeouts and added a double for Silverado.
Maya Barnes had a double and a triple to pace Faith Lutheran.
Liberty 10, Las Vegas 3 — At Las Vegas, Megan Patras went 3-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and four runs to lead the Patriots past the Wildcats.
