ROUNDUP: Gomez’s second-half strike sends Jaguars past Del Sol

Vanessa Gomez’s goal midway through the second half Thursday propelled Desert Pines’ girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Del Sol.
Maydelin Pena also scored for the Jaguars.
Alicia Villa tallied Del Sol’s goal.
Shadow Ridge 4, Eldorado 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Taylor Lopez notched three goals to help the Mustangs top the Sundevils.
Brittany Baham added a score for Shadow Ridge.
Maria Bonsignore scored for Eldorado.
Arbor View 6, Spring Valley 0 — At Arbor View, Samantha Mendoza had two goals, and the Aggies jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead and cruised to the victory.
Taylor Bonetti, Samantha Cable, Alexis Pyor and Tiffani Hayes added a goal apiece for Arbor View.
Kyla Salazar, Kylee Wallace and Nina Sackett combined on the shutout for the Aggies.
Cimarron-Memorial 4, Durango 0 — At Durango, Brooke D’Onofrio tallied three goals and an assist as the Spartans blanked the Trailblazers.
Tessa Sanchez also scored for Cimarron, which got two assists from Dagny Signorelli.
Sashia DeGroat and Rachael Sawyer combined on the shutout for the Spartans.
Rancho 0, Tech 0 — At Tech, the Rams and Roadrunners played to a scoreless tie.
Rancho’s Rachael Wiltshire and Tech’s Makala Lemley each notched a shutout.
