ROUNDUP: Lara scores three as Bulldogs hold on for tie with Del Sol

William Lara scored all three of his goals in the first half Friday, and Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team held on for a 3-3 tie against visiting Foothill.
The Bulldogs led 3-2 at the half, but settled for the tie.
Eric Beil scored twice, and Roberto Perez added a goal for the Dragons.
Foothill 6, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, Christian Volesky scored four goals, raising his season total to 22, as the Falcons downed the Eagles.
Anthony Vida and Cory Philpot also scored for Foothill.
Ryan Warshefski and Lars Bremer tallied Boulder City’s goals.
Basic 5, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Jose Amaya scored two goals, and Cesar Mendez had two assists as the Wolves downed the Pirates.
Santo Torrez and Enrique Orozco also scored for Basic, which took advantage of an own goal.
Christian Rodriguez and Jorge Almendanez combined on the shutout.
GIRLS
Pahrump Valley 3, Boulder City 0 — At Pahrump, Leanne Morrow, Sidney Sladek and Melissa Ewing scored a goal apiece as the Trojans improved to 10-0 by blanking the Eagles.
Madzia DeSalvo made seven saves to earn the shutout.
