ROUNDUP: Becker, Freeman lead Crusaders to Northwest win
Faith Lutheran’s Brianna Becker and Annie Freman finished first and second, respectively, on Monday to lead the Crusaders to the team title in a Northwest League girls golf match at Palm Valley.
Becker shot a 1-under-par 71, one stroke in front of Freman. Arbor View’s Kiley Ballew finished third with a 79.
Faith Lutheran shot 331 as a team, followed by Arbor View (353) and Palo Verde (359).
Boulder City tops Gorman
At Boulder City Municipal, Indiana Mead carded a 6-over 42 as Boulder City defeated Bishop Gorman, 177-199, in a dual meet.
Randi Lewis added a 43 for the Eagles.
