ROUNDUP: Megown helps Panthers overcome Mustangs

Morgan Megown had 33 digs and three kills Wednesday to lead Palo Verde’s girls volleyball team to a 25-15, 25-6, 11-25, 25-21 victory at Shadow Ridge.
Stephanie Herman tallied 10 assists, five aces and four digs, and Lauren Kannal added 10 assists, five kills and four aces for Palo Verde.
Miranda Flores had 10 kills and seven digs for Shadow Ridge, and Erika Everhart tallied eight kills and two blocks.
Faith Lutheran 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Kelsey McCourt tallied 31 assists and five aces, and Vanessa Sigman and Taylor Richards each spiked six kills to help the Crusaders sweep the Rattlers, 25-10, 25-12, 25-12.
Paige Henderson added five kills for Faith Lutheran.
Arbor View 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Lorin Rader compiled 11 assists, six kills and five aces, and teammate Erika Kelly added 13 kills, seven digs and three aces to help the Aggies rally past the Desert Shields, 16-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.
Teylor Lytle had six blocks, four kills and two aces, and Emily Herdt supplied seven blocks, two kills and two aces for Cheyenne.
Centennial 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Emma Hilsabeck recorded seven assists, four digs and two aces, and Brooke Rogers notched six digs, four kills and three aces as the Bulldogs beat the Spartans, 25-18, 25-17, 25-11.
Laura Rogenbaum added five kills and three digs for Centennial.
Toree Manumaleuma had 12 assists and seven digs for Cimarron, and Denise Velez had six kills and six digs.
Durango 3, Desert Oasis 2 — At Durango, Sarah Tullis distributed 28 assists, and Kylie Ferri had 10 kills as the Trailblazers outlasted the Diamondbacks, 25-17, 14-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-10.
Hailee Wilson added eight kills and Charlierae Evans seven kills for Durango.
Kindra Stanfield dished out 28 assists for Desert Oasis. Meg Hughes supplied 14 digs, and Brittney Jensen added 12 kills for the Diamondbacks.
Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Lauren Karn dished out 30 assists to help the Bengals to a 25-14, 25-4, 30-28 win over the Chargers.
Jessica Wilcox supplied 14 kills and five aces, and Bree Hammel added 13 kills and two blocks for Bonanza.
Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Morgan Malone had 24 assists and five aces to help the Mountain Lions sweep the Grizzlies, 25-11, 25-10, 25-17.
McCall Phillips added four kills and four aces for Sierra Vista.
Torri Patterson had 15 assists for Spring Valley, and Nicole Rafay supplied four kills.
Bishop Gorman 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Gorman, Kylie Chun had 15 assists and six aces, and Liz Manthei supplied 14 assists and eight kills as the Gaels swept the Trojans, 25-10, 25-14, 25-12.
Gianna Ruggeroli added seven kills for Gorman.
Moapa Valley 3, Western 2 — At Western, Moapa Valley outlasted the Warriors,  25-23, 27-25, 13-25, 19-25, 15-13.
Brittany Moreland had 15 kills for Western, and LaShanda Anderson supplied 11 blocks and five kills.
Boulder City 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Avalon Frantz notched 22 assists and six aces, and Ali Rants collected 23 digs to help lead the Eagles to a 25-22, 25-21, 25-17 sweep of the Bulldogs.
Kayla Nix added seven kills and three aces for Boulder City, and Whitney Barlow supplied five blocks.
Indian Springs 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds swept the Sidewinders, 25-20, 26-24, 25-10.
 
Tonopah 3, Beatty 0 — At Tonopah, Britney Klapper's 22 assists, three kills and two aces helped the Muckers to a 26-24, 25-8, 25-13 sweep of the Hornets.
 
Sam Kimber added 11 kills and three blocks, and Deanna Van Poucke had seven kills and two digs for Tonopah. Elaina Dunn supplied six kills for the Muckers.
