Faith Lutheran’s boys place second at Chino Cup

Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team won a pair of games on Saturday to place second in the Chino Cup in Chino Valley, Ariz.
The Crusaders went 3-1 in the tournament.
Faith Lutheran got a second-half goal from D’Khari Hicks to earn a 1-0 victory over Chino Valley.
Kyle Richards had the shutout.
In the team’s second game on Saturday, Todd Tomburo scored twice and the Crusaders rolled to a 7-0 victory over Grand Canyon (Ariz.).
Zach Hobart, Kayvon Etebar, Hicks, Brandon Nunez and Ramiz Ahmed each added a goal for Faith Lutheran, and Richards posted the shutout.
The Crusaders split a pair of games on Friday, beating Camp Verde (Ariz.) 2-0 and losing 3-0 to Blue Ridge (Ariz.).
