ROUNDUP: Babas helps Gators ground Falcons

Matt Babas had three goals and two assists, and Alejandro Pacheco added two goals and an assist Wednesday to help Green Valley’s boys soccer team blitz visiting Foothill, 9-2.
Eric Billington supplied a goal and two assists for the Gators, who struck eight times in the second half. Daniel Valdez, Andrew Mantle and Oakley Ericcson each tallied a goal for the Gators.
Christian Volesky scored both goals for Foothill.
Silverado 5, Basic 0 — At Silverado, Chase Leaders scored two goals to lift the Skyhawks past the Wolves.
Julio Hermoza, Michael Maldonado and Dakota Hallaway also scored for Silverado.
Vicente Gomez made two saves to record the shutout.

Tech 3, Del Sol 0 —
 At Tech, Salvador Garcia’s two goals helped the Roadrunners down the Dragons.
Oscar Velazquez also scored for Tech.
Abdel Rodriguez posted two saves en route to the shutout.
Liberty 0, Coronado 0 — At Liberty, the Patriots and the Cougars played to a scoreless tie.
Liberty’s Nathan Criger and Coronado’s Danny Sellitti each notched a shutout.
Eldorado 2, Las Vegas 2 — At Eldorado, Luis Cruz scored the tying goal off a corner kick from Aaron Vidales with less than nine minutes to play to give the Sundevils a draw with the Wildcats.
Carlos Ramirez also scored for Eldorado.
Abraham Paz and Victor Rivera scored for Las Vegas.
Sunrise Mountain 3, Chaparral 1— At Chaparral, the Miners got a goal apiece from Diego Segovia, Juan Pena and Visente Prieto in a win over the Cowboys.
Fidel Hernandez supplied two assists for Sunrise Mountain.
Fernando Noriego scored Chaparral’s lone goal.
Valley 3, Rancho 2 — At Valley, Julio Borjas, Carlos Gomez and Carlos Flores each scored as the Vikings nipped the Rams.
Brandon Contreras and Hector Martinez each scored a goal for Rancho.
Canyon Springs 0, Desert Pines 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Pioneers and Jaguars played to a scoreless tie.
Desert Pines’ Alejandro Almanza made four saves to log the shutout. Canyon Springs’ Sixto Lucero stopped five shots.
