ROUNDUP: Wolves score three on two outs to clip Falcons

Basic’s softball team scored three runs with two outs in the top of the 10th inning Thursday to earn a 5-2 road win over Foothill.
Marissa Ross hit a two-run triple to break the 2-2 tie. She later scored on a passed ball for the final margin.
Adrian Brown was 3-for-4 with a triple for Basic, and Leah Causey had a solo home run for the Wolves.
Lacey Romo allowed six hits and struck out nine to get the win.
Foothill’s Lauren Penksa was 2-for-5 with an RBI, and Kylie Ishikawa blasted a solo homer for the Falcons.
Liberty 5, Silverado 2 — At Liberty, Francesca Foti and Rhiannon Beck each went 3-for-3 to lead the Patriots past the Skyhawks.
Foti had a double, a triple and two RBIs, and Beck doubled and drove in a run.
Cassandra English was 2-for-3 with a double, and Breanna English pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts to get the win.
Tech 3, Coronado 1 — At Tech, winning pitcher Amanda Roark tallied 10 strikeouts, holding Coronado to one run on five hits as Tech defeated the Cougars.
Lauren Lesniak went 2-for-2, and sister Nicole Lesniak was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Roadrunners.
Katie Cochran was 3-for-3 with a run scored for Coronado.
Green Valley 15, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Carly Smith went 3-for-4 with two runs, and Shelby Vickers had two triples in a 3-for-5 effort as Green Valley blitzed the Dragons in five innings.
Alicia Firelein was 3-for-5, and Desiree Laswell, Ali Bodnar and Kayla Anderson each added two of Green Valley’s 19 hits.
Desiree Orozco was 2-for-3 for Del Sol.
Las Vegas 10, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, pitchers Kristina Nelson and Chelsea Lewis combined on a six-inning one-hitter and struck out 11 as the Wildcats blanked Canyon Springs.
Jasmina Salas finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Las Vegas.
Valley 24, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Mickayla Romero went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and three RBIs, and Jasmine Villamar was 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs and three RBIs as Valley routed the Miners in five innings.
Jalissa Choyce hit two doubles for Sunrise Mountain.
Rancho 12, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Amber Marlett went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double to lead Rancho in a six-inning rout of the Jaguars.
Daisy Valenzuela also went 3-for-4 for Rancho.
Aly Lamboo tossed a one-hitter, striking out seven and walking four for the Rams.
