Chaparral’s Malcolm McMurray won three events on Tuesday, but the Cowboys fell 89-85 to host Las Vegas in boys track.
McMurray won the 200-meter dash (21.5 seconds), the 400 (41.3) and the long jump (21 feet, 8½ inches).
Carlos Olague won the 300 hurdles (43.5) and pole vault (12-6) to help the Cowboys.
Las Vegas High’s Antonio Verdugo took top honors in the shot put (44-7) and discus (117-7).
Bonanza wins nine events, takes meet
At Bonanza, the Bengals won nine events on the way to 81 points and a victory over Desert Oasis (69) and Spring Mountain (31).
Nick Kydd won the 110 hurdles (17.6) and 300 hurdles (43.6) for the Diamondbacks, and teammate Kambrenn Heatley took the 100 (10.9) and 200 (23.1).
Blake leads Palo Verde to win
At Palo Verde, Tyrone Blake won three events to help the Panthers score 117 points and a home victory over Faith Lutheran (57½) and The Meadows (11½).
Blake took the 110 hurdles in 16.2 seconds, the 300 hurdles in 43.3 and the triple jump with a mark of 39-11.
Maurice Maxwell won the high jump (5-4) and long jump (17-7) for the Panthers.
Faith Lutheran’s John Cartier claimed the 200 (22.2) and 400 (51.0).
Anderson, Stearns lead Trojans to victory
At Pahrump, Alex Anderson won three events to lead host Pahrump Valley (144½) to victory over Bishop Gorman (64.16), Beatty (27) and Western (19.33).
Anderson took the high jump (5-8), long jump (19-1) and triple jump (44-9).
Teammate Nick Stearns won the 110 hurdles (15.2) and 300 hurdles (42.6).
Lopez’s sprint wins lift Spring Valley
At Spring Valley, Brandon Lopez took the 100 in 11.5 seconds and the 200 in 23.3 to lift the Grizzlies to victory in a three-team meet.
Spring Valley finished with a team score of 84½. Durango took second with 70½, and Calvary Chapel scored 25 points.
