ROUNDUP: Hurdler Price leads Centennial past Arbor View, Cheyenne

Marquese Price won two events to help Centennial’s boys track team to 77 points Tuesday and a win over Arbor View (50) and host Cheyenne (37).

Price took the 110-meter hurdles (15.8 seconds) and 300 hurdles (43.9).

Cheyenne’s Jordan Butler also won two events, nabbing honors in the 100 (10.7) and 400 (51.2).

Adams leads Bonanza to win
At Clark, Taylor Adams won two events Tuesday to help Bonanza (101) cruise past the host Chargers (65) and Bishop Gorman (8).

Adams took the 1,600 (4:56.3) and 3,200 (11:28.3).

Clark’s Cheez Garry earned top honors in the 100 (11.0), 200 (22.5) and high jump (6 feet, 2 inches).

Balanced attack leads Silverado to victory
At Del Sol, Silverado won six events to finish with 101 points and a victory over Moapa Valley (81), Del Sol (66) and the Aussies (21).

Del Sol’s Evan Weinstock won the 100 (11.49), 400 (52.24) and high jump (6-4).

Falcons take six events, tri-meet
At Coronado, Foothill won six events on the way to 91 points and a win over Coronado (76) and Virgin Valley (19).

Coronado’s Andrew Mantle took the 800 (2:04.3) and 1,600 (4:46.6).
