ROUNDUP: Romo fans 18 as Basic moves to 10-0

Lacey Romo tossed a two-hitter and struck out 18 on Tuesday as Basic’s softball team ran its overall record to 10-0 and opened Southeast League play with a 4-0 home win over Coronado.
Romo, who allowed only two walks, also supplied a solo home run.
Jessica Pittman was 2-for-3 with a run for Basic.
Green Valley 3, Silverado 0 — At Green Valley, Desiree Laswell tossed a one-hitter with nine strikeouts as the Gators blanked the Skyhawks.
Lace Jordan was 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Gators, who plated all three of their runs in the fifth inning.
Foothill 13, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Myranda Mortel went 3-for-4, and Foothill exploded with seven runs in the fourth inning as the Falcons routed the Dragons.
Hanna Russo was 2-for-3, and Lauren Penska went 2-for-4 for Foothill.
Centennial 6, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Lindsay Konopelko was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI to help the Bulldogs beat the Mustangs.
Sarah Cudahy doubled twice and scored two runs, and Mikayla Djordjevic and Taylor Huntly each added a pair of hits for Centennial.
Huntley pitched a five-hitter with five strikeouts.
Rancho 11, Canyon Springs 1 — At Rancho, Aly Lamboo pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and added a double, an RBI and three runs scored as the Rams routed the Pioneers in five innings.
Alex Padilla finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Rancho.
Valley 13, Chaparral 4 — At Valley, winning pitcher Jasmine Villamar went 2-for-4 with a two run double to help the Vikings beat the Cowboys.
Chaparral committed eight errors, and Valley committed six.
Eldorado 7, Desert Pines 2 — At Eldorado, Ashley Jarzombek pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks to lead the Sundevils past the Jaguars.
Gabriella Trillo went 2-for-4 for Eldorado, which got a double and two RBIs from Megan Jaramillo.
Megan Robbins was 2-for-4 with a double and a run for Desert Pines.
Las Vegas 18, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Las Vegas, Monique Hernandez and Chelsea Lewis each went 3-for-4 with two RBIs as the Wildcats cruised to an easy win over the Miners.
Jenise Gutierrez was 3-for-3 with four runs scored, and Ashley Wesgarth and Valerie Talamantez each added two hits for Las Vegas.
Legacy 9, Clark 3 — At Legacy, Darcey Cochran went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored, and Danielle Pick was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs as the Longhorns beat the Chargers.
Jessie Wilhelm was 2-for-4 with a triple and a run.
Anna Jaehn finished 3-for-4 with a run scored for Clark.
