ROUNDUP: Holly, Desert Shields stun Cimarron

Rachel Holly tossed an eight-hitter and struck out six Monday as Cheyenne’s softball team stunned host Cimarron-Memorial, 5-2.
Jamie Schaefer had a double and an RBI for the Desert Shields, who scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to take control.
Lindsey Galindo was 2-for-3 for Cheyenne.
Hannah Williams finished 2-for-4 for Cimarron.
Arbor View 8, Centennial 2 — At Centennial, Savanah Webster went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and three RBIs, and Arbor View built a 6-0 lead in the fourth inning on its way to a win over the Bulldogs.
Nichole Diaz was 2-for-2 for the Aggies.
Taylor Huntley was 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer for Centennial.
Legacy 13, Faith Lutheran 3 — At Legacy, Danielle Pick went 4-for-4 with a triple, a double, three runs and an RBI, and the Longhorns used an eight-run fourth inning to rout Faith Lutheran.
Alexis Fuller was 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI, and Jessie Wilhelm went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for Legacy.
Michelle Beatty was 3-for-3, and Kailey McEvilly went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs for the Crusaders.
Palo Verde 18, Mojave 0 — At Palo Verde, Melissa McCormick and Torri Felton combined on a three-hit shutout and the Panthers racked up 18 hits in a five-inning rout of the Rattlers.
McCormick struck out the first six batters and batted 3-for-4 with two triples, four RBIs and three runs. Andi Molin doubled twice and finished 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs, and Angel Council went 3-for-4 with three runs for Palo Verde.
Desert Oasis 10, Bishop Gorman 4 — At Gorman, Lenzi Cram pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts and went 4-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored to lift the Diamondbacks past the Gaels.
Holly O’Hara doubled twice and finished 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI for Desert Oasis.
Gracie Martinez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run and an RBI for Gorman.
Spring Valley 8, Pahrump Valley 5 — At Pahrump, Katie Campo’s three-run homer highlighted a five-run seventh inning to rally Spring Valley past the Trojans.
Campo was 3-for-3 with two runs, and winning pitcher Nicole Matyskiel also homered.
Leanne Morrow had a pair of doubles for Pahrump.
Bonanza 22, Sierra Vista 3 — At Sierra Vista, Cheyenne Wells had two triples and two doubles, and Bonanza scored 13 runs in the top of the first inning as the Bengals marched past the Mountain Lions.
Emily Osborn added two triples and two singles for Bonanza.
Clark 12, Western 0 — At Western, Julia Hagen tossed a five-inning four-hitter and had three hits in Clark’s rout of the Warriors.
Raquel Kizer had two hits for the Warriors.
Lake Mead 8, Boulder City JV 3— At Boulder City, winning pitcher Lynzee Freund went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and tossed 11 strikeouts as Lake Mead topped Boulder City’s junior varsity.
Emma Khachikian was 3-for-4 and scored all three runs for Lake Mead.
