ROUNDUP: Aggies hold on, outlast Grizzlies at home

Bradley Williams had 15 kills and 20 digs Friday to help Arbor View’s boys volleyball team outlast visiting Spring Valley, 25-21, 26-24, 22-25, 20-25, 15-13.
Kirby Mengert added 18 kills, 17 digs and nine blocks, and Richie Garness dished out 40 assists for the Aggies.
Dallas Teshima had 31 assists for the Grizzlies. Jayvin Garcia added nine kills, and Khoa Nguyen put up eight kills and two aces for Spring Valley.
Desert Pines 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Dominique Lawrence had 10 kills, six aces and five blocks to lead the Jaguars past the Longhorns.
Michael Tran had 13 assists for Desert Pines.
Justin Paquin led Legacy with six kills, and teammate Billy Purcell had four blocks.
Green Valley 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Nick Herrin had 16 assists and two aces as Green Valley swept the Mountain Lions, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.
Jon Cheun added seven digs, and Beau Gronert had five kills for the Gators.
Cody Seager led Sierra Vista with 10 kills and two blocks. Jordan Claudio contributed seven digs, and Khrumm Fahim had six kills and three blocks for the Mountain Lions.
Rancho 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Rancho, Kamran Baig dished out 24 assists to help the Rams to a 25-21, 25-11, 25-14 home win over the Spartans.
Antonio Boucher and Ryan Dennis each had eight kills, and Adam Johnson had seven blocks for Rancho.
