ROUNDUP: Mancias’ early goal lifts Rancho girls past Desert Pines

Jocelyn Mancias scored a first-half goal and Rancho’s girls soccer team held on for a 1-0 victory over visiting Desert Pines on Tuesday.
Megan Aoyama assisted on the goal, and goalkeeper Rachael Wiltshire recorded six saves to earn the shutout.
Canyon Springs 2, Las Vegas 1 — At Las Vegas, Diamond Miller and Jazmine Eshelman each scored a second-half goal as the Pioneers edged the Wildcats.
Wendy Martinez scored for Las Vegas.
Sunrise Mountain 2, Valley 1 — At Valley, Jessell Odell scored two goals to lead the Miners past the Vikings.
Siara Alfazak scored for Valley.
Silverado 3, Liberty 0 — At Silverado, Gio Garcia had a goal and an assist as the Skyhawks cruised past the Patriots.
Rachel Cooklin and Elyssa Gallenbeck each added a goal for Silverado. Samantha Lewis recorded the shutout for the Skyhawks.
Eldorado 4, Chaparral 0 — At Eldorado, Teresa Barajas scored twice as the Sundevils blanked the Cowboys.
Alexis Sama and Moncia Gonzalez each added a goal, and Sabrina Justice had two assists for Eldorado.
Goalkeeper Chynna Hartmann recorded the shutout.
Basic 3, Foothill 1 — At Basic, the Wolves took a 2-1 halftime lead to hold off the Falcons.
Sarah Hudson, Veronica Del Hierro and Nicole Givens scored a goal apiece for Basic.
Coronado 7, Tech 1 — At Coronado, Sarah Pate had three goals and an assist, and Amanda Madden had two goals and an assist to help the Cougars blitz the Roadrunners.
Melissa Subu added a goal and two assists, and Grace McConnell scored a goal for Coronado.
Rachael Montoya scored for Tech.
Green Valley 9, Del Sol 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Varner had three goals to lead the Gators in a rout the Dragons.
Alyssa Rodriguez, Kassidy McLean and Asli Kupoglu each added a goal and an assist, and Megan Brickley, Christina Schrader and Kaylynn Burgess also scored for the Gators.
Alissa Villamor notched two assists, and goalkeeper Nicole Westover picked up the shutout.
