ROUNDUP: Harris leads Wildcat girls to win at Eldorado

Shomari Harris had 20 points as Las Vegas High’s girls basketball team cruised to a 60-38 road win over Eldorado on Wednesday to move into sole possession of first place in the Northeast League.

Shauntovia Luckie added 13 points and Breanna Melton scored 11 for the Wildcats.

Teresa Mahserjian paced the Sundevils with eight points.

Durango 46, Pahrump Valley 35 — At Durango, Tiarra Belville had 11 points and eight rebounds to help the Trailblazers beat the Trojans.

Cherelle Hicks had 12 rebounds, and Megan Tullis grabbed 10 boards for Durango.

Toi Simmons had 15 points for Pahrump.

Sierra Vista 59, Desert Oasis 38 — At Desert Oasis, Jeanette Jackson scored a game-high 23 points to help the Lions roar past the Diamondbacks.

A’Yanna Johnson and Marley Wakeen each added nine points for Sierra Vista.

Auburn Smith led Desert Oasis with 11 points.

Chaparral 47, Sunrise Mountain 29 — At Chaparral, Jacquie Freguson scored 10 points to help the Cowboys down the Miners.

Tachina Savoy also had 10 points for Chaparral, which led 33-14 at halftime.

Sunrise Mountain’s Alicia Winchester, Da’Nisa Wedeow and Elisa Marshall each scored six points.

Bishop Gorman 78, Spring Valley 24 — At Gorman, Aaryn Ellenberg scored 16 of her 21 points in the first half, helping the Gaels grab a 56-4 halftime lead and cruise past the Grizzlies.

Zhane Dikes had 13 points for Gorman, which scored 37 points in the first quarter.

Shauna Patterson led Spring Valley with eight points.

Valley 50, Rancho 29 — At Valley, Jessica Walton scored 12 points and Christina Davis added 11 to lead the Vikings past the Rams.

Gayle Wilmot led Rancho with 11 points.

BONANZA-WESTERN POSTPONED — Wednesday’s game between Bonanza and Western was postponed.

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday.
