ROUNDUP: Eldorado’s last-second heroics stun Las Vegas

Eldorado’s Markieth Floyd scored on a driving layup as time expired to give Eldorado a 64-62 home win over Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Curtis Stewart led the Sundevils with 16 points. Shawn Carter had 13 points, and Thomas Hooper had eight pionts and 14 rebounds for Eldorado.

Tyree Anderson had a game-high 22 points for the Wildcats, who outscored Eldorado 23-15 in the fourth quarter.

Mario Wess added 14 points for Las Vegas.

Canyon Springs 66, Desert Pines 63 — At Canyon Springs, Jeremy Alexander scored 12 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter and had 10 rebounds to help the Pioneers edge the Jaguars.

Michael Thompson added 15 points and eight rebounds for Canyon Springs, which trailed 46-44 entering the fourth, but rallied to take a six-point lead before Desert Pines’ Tyler Larson cut the advantage in half with a 3-pointer.

Larson finished with 24 points, and teammate Caleb Myles scored 14.

Rancho 65, Valley 57 — At Valley, Amir Royal had 17 points, and Tyler Gaston scored 14 for the Rams, which used a 25-11 fourth quarter to pull away from the Vikings.

Kris Hall added 12 points and Fabian Dominguez chipped in 10 for Rancho.

Christian Kessee scored 18 points for Valley, which also got 14 points from Khristian Kirkwood.

Desert Oasis 63, Sierra Vista 57 — At Desert Oasis, Cameron Mich’l scored 27 points to help the Diamondbacks down the Mountain Lions.

Anthony Lianzo scored 12 points, and was 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in the final two minutes to help seal the win. Cameron Jefferson added 10 points for Desert Oasis.

Viko Noma’aea scored 25 points, and Justin Odabi contributed 13 points for Sierra Vista, which trailed 21-11 after one quarter.

Chaparral 75, Sunrise Mountain 58 — At Chaparral, Kevin Morgan had 17 points to help the Cowboys past the Miners.

Chris Goodloe scored 14 and Devonte’ White added 12 for Chaparral, which led 23-10 after one quarter.

Sunrise Mountain’s Matt Marshall scored a game-high 21 points,  and Fharhaad Zinnamon added 10 points for the Miners.

Durango 51, Pahrump Valley 41 — At Durango, Tre’Von Wells and Devonte Williams each had 11 points to lead the Trailblazers past the Trojans.

Shawn Jones had 10 rebounds for Durango, which led 32-10 at the half.

Alex Anderson led Pahrump with 19 points.

Bishop Gorman 97, Spring Valley 62 — At Bishop Gorman, Shabazz Muhammad had 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Gaels cruised to an easy win over the Grizzlies.

Xavier Grimble added 12 points and nine rebounds, and Johnathan Loyd had 11 points and 11 assists for Gorman.

All 14 Gorman players scored at least two points.

Corey Clement and Gary Payton each had 10 points for Spring Valley.

Beatty 61, Spring Mountain 46 — At Beatty, Anthony Regalado had 19 points to lead the Hornets past the Eagles.

Ivan Maldonado added 14 points and Ramiro Hernandez scored 12 for Beatty.

Leon Saunders led Spring Mountain with 15 points.

BONANZA-WESTERN POSTPONED — Wednesday’s game between Bonanza and Western was postponed.

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday.
