Tennis playoff pairings set
The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association on Friday finalized the pairings for the boys and girls team Sunset and Sunrise Region tennis tournaments
After Rancho won a coin toss to determine the final two spots in the Northeast League, the brackets were made official with no changes to the preliminary pairings first reported on Nevadapreps.com.
Girls quarterfinals in both regions are Monday at host sites. The semifinals are Wednesday, also at host sites, with the finals set for Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at Darling Tennis Center.
The boys quarterfinals are Tuesday at host sites. Semifinals will be played Thursday at host sites, with the finals set for Oct. 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Darling Tennis Center.
Each region champion earns a spot in the state semifinals, set for Oct. 22 at Darling Tennis Center. The region runners-up will meet in a state play-in match on Oct. 19 at Darling Tennis Center to determine the South's third entry into the semifinals.
