ROUNDUP: Chaparral outlasts Pioneers, moves into tie for third

Carolina Reyes posted 30 assists and three blocks Thursday as Chaparral’s girls volleyball team outlasted visiting Canyon Springs, 25-15, 25-19, 22-25, 12-25, 15-11.
Angie Gonzales added 14 kills and seven aces for the Cowboys, who moved into a tie for third place with Rancho at 7-5 in the Northeast League.
Las Vegas 3, Rancho 0 — At Las Vegas, Desirae Lair had nine kills and 11 digs, and Ruth Wittig had nine digs and six aces as the Wildcats clinched at least a share of the Northeast League title with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-11 win over the Rams.
Natresha Bernard added five blocks and four kills for Las Vegas, which improved to 12-0 in the Northeast.
Valley 3, Eldorado 0— At Eldorado, Maureen Aquino’s 11 kills, eight digs and two aces helped the visting Vikings down Eldorado, 25-17, 25-19, 25-4.
Eliza Robinson had three blocks and three kills, and Shanah Frankel added 12 digs for Valley. Lenore Porter also had 20 assists, seven aces and two kills for the Vikings.
Desert Pines 3, Sunrise Mountain 0— At Desert Pines, TaQuiyyah Boyles had six kills, four blocks and three aces to lead the Jaguars past the Miners 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.
Noemie Medrano had 10 digs, and Michelle Estella added six aces for Desert Pines, which got 10 assists from Alyssa Turner.
Sam Vererele had seven digs and five aces, and Taquera Ingram had four kills for Sunrise Mountain.
Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Jena Chavez dished out 24 assists and served eight aces as the Gators downed Liberty 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.
Siga Appelgate added 11 kills, five digs and three aces, and Liz Groesbeck had seven kills and three aces for Green Valley.
Amanda Delgado led Liberty with 18 digs and four kills. Stevie Baker added nine digs and Megan Murphy had three kills for the Patriots.
Coronado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Katie Gamsky dished out 23 assists and added three aces to lead the Cougars past the Dragons 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.
Courtney Comito added seven digs, Kuulei Piena had nine klls, and Kristen Herlosky posted six kills and five digs for Coronado.
Kristen Hanks had 10 digs and Natalie Korzenowski five kills for Del Sol.
Basic 3, Tech 0— At Tech, Mikayla Bowen had seven kills, two blocks and four digs as Basic defeated Tech, 25-16, 25-14, 25-8.
Mercedez James supplied six aces, four kills and four digs, while Jackie Foutz added eight kills for the Wolves.
Katie Lucas had three kills, two aces and six digs for Tech.
Silverado 3, Foothill 0— At Foothill, Silverado cruised to victory over the host Falcons 25-12, 25-12, 25-10.
Agassi Prep JV 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson, the Stars’ junior varsity team earned a 25-18, 25-6, 25-21 win over the Lions.
Samantha Hinerman served three aces for Adelson.
