ROUNDUP: Valley girls roll past Chaparral

Valley’s girls tennis team swept all nine doubles sets Tuesday en route to a 12-6 home win over Chaparral.

The Vikings’ doubles teams of Nicole Russo and Ashley Johnson, Acamy Menson and Jenna Beaudry, and Bernice Ollano and Johanna Schwartz each went 3-0.

Kelley Terry and Kiara Miller each went 3-0 in singles play for Chaparral.

Canyon Springs 14, Moapa Valley 4 — At Canyon Springs, the Pioneers swept the singles sets to down the Pirates.

Rebecca Breland, Joy Jones and Stephanie Giraldo each went 3-0 in singles for Canyon Springs.

Christian Earl and Corine Earl teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for the Pioneers.

Eldorado 17, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Eldorado, Wendy Magana and Suesun Sapradit went 2-0 in doubles as the Sundevils routed the Miners.

Jennifer DeLong, Melanie Pabst and Arely Diaz each went 1-0 in singles for Eldorado.

Las Vegas 13, Desert Pines 5 — At Desert Pines, Val Shively, Danica Engstrom and Selena Torres each went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Wildcats over the Jaguars.

Maritsa Del Rio teamed with Carolina Ayala to go 2-0 in doubles for Las Vegas.

Amalia Diaz and Odette Galvez went 3-0 in doubles for Desert Pines. 

Centennial 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, Morgan Johnson and Camille Castro went 2-0 in doubles play and

Leslie Giesler teamed with Jordan Sgro to go 2-0 as the Bulldogs topped the Spartans.

Cimarron’s Starlyn Thomas went 3-0 in singles. 

Palo Verde 14, Shadow Ridge 4 — At Shadow Ridge, Maia Bernick went 2-1 in singles and the doubles team of Sarah

Sanders and Megan Randazzo went 2-1 to help the Panthers down the Mustangs.

Catherine Cabo and Debra Hogue went 2-1 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.

The Meadows 15, Faith Lutheran 3 — At The Meadows, Amanda Brazell won all three of her singles sets 6-0 to help the Mustangs beat the Crusaders.

Jenna Palazzo and Shannon Chen went 2-1 in doubles for The Meadows.

Legacy 14, Mojave 4 — At Mojave, Norian Williams and Danyelle Lizzio each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Longhorns past the Rattlers.

Kristen Bachman and Nicole Santiwan went 3-0 in doubles for Mojave.

Arbor View 11, Cheyenne 6 — At Cheyenne, Stephanie Pan and Alexis Bridges went 3-0 in doubles as the Aggies beat the Desert Shields.

Unique Hawkins went 3-0 in singles for Cheyenne.

Sierra Vista 10, Bonanza 9 — At Sierra Vista, Courtney Sunstrum went 2-0 in singles and the Mountain Lions won a tiebreaker to defeat the Bengals.

Alison Matlovic was 3-0 in singles and Isabella Minoli and Emily Ruskowitz went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 16, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, the doubles team of Kathryn Kajans and Erica Silvestri went 3-0 and

Anita Lee went 2-0 in singles to lead the Gaels over the Diamondbacks.

Durango 16, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, the Trailblazers routed the Bulldogs.

Liberty 15, Boulder City 3 — At Boulder City, the Patriots rolled past the Eagles.

Clark 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Chargers won by forfeit.
