ROUNDUP: Canyon Springs girls keep Northeast lead

Christian Earl and Corene Earl went 3-0 in doubles Wednesday as host Canyon Springs’ girls tennis team kept its hold on first place in the Northeast League with a 10-8 win over Las Vegas.
Rebecca Breland was 3-0 in singles for the Pioneers, who improved to 6-4 overall and 6-0 in the Northeast.
Val Shively was 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas (5-4, 4-1).
Moapa Valley 14, Sunrise Mountain 4— At Sunrise Mountain, Alyssa O’Toole and Chelsi Edwards each went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Natalie Rust and Marianna Crippa went 2-0 to lead the Pirates past the Miners.
Valley 11, Rancho 7 — At Valley, Patrice Mayo went 3-0 in singles to lead the Vikings past the Rams.
Rancho’s Joanne Coslo and Crystal Valenzuela went 3-0 in doubles.
Desert Pines 11, Chaparral 7 — At Chaparral, Elvia Castro went 3-0 in singles as the Jaguars beat the Cowboys.
Kelley Terry and Kiara Miller went 3-0 in doubles for Chaparral.
Palo Verde 12, Centennial 6 — At Palo Verde, the doubles teams of Megan McGuire and Maia Bernick, and Sarah Sanders and Megan Randazo both went 3-0 to help the Panthers top the Bulldogs.
Brittany Granderson was 2-1 in singles for Palo Verde.
Hannah Barnum went 3-0 in singles for Centennial, and Emily Mauer was 2-1 in singles.
Faith Lutheran 11, Arbor View 7 — At Faith Lutheran, Nikki Pizzoferrato and Olivia Demarta each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Crusaders to an 11-7 win over the Aggies.
Stephanie Pan and Alexis Bridges teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Arbor View.
Shadow Ridge 15, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Jamie Andrade went 3-0 in singles to pace the Mustangs past the Rattlers.
The Meadows 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs downed Cimarron.
Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan went 3-0 in doubles for the Spartans.
Bishop Gorman 14, Bonanza 4 — At Bonanza, Cheryl Ernst and Aspen Minden went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels over the Bengals.
Alison Matlovic went 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.
Clark 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Clark, Natasha James was 3-0 in singles as the Chargers downed the Diamondbacks.
The teams of Monique Rohani and Hannah Hayon, and Heidi Lim and Ji-Hye Lee each went 2-0 in doubles for Clark.
Lauren Lightfoot and Danica Ingwaldson each went 2-1 in singles for Desert Oasis.
Durango 11, Eldorado 7 — At Eldorado, Alyse Kurley and Jamie Dean teamed to go 3-0 in doubles, and Claire Melo and Andrea Melo each went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Trailblazers over the Sundevils.
Spring Valley 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Grizzlies won by forfeit.
Cheyenne 12, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, the Desert Shields won by forfeit.
