ROUNDUP: Las Vegas girls sweep singles, beats Eldorado

Las Vegas High’s girls swept the nine singles sets Thursday en route to a 13-5 win over visiting Eldorado.
Val Shively, Danica Engstrom and Felina Torres each went 3-0 in singles for Las Vegas. The Wildcats’ doubles team of Whitney Nielson and Erandi Garcia also was 3-0.
Alyssa Gabrillo and Maria Guanlao went 2-1 in doubles for the Sundevils.
Canyon Springs 12, Rancho 6 — At Rancho, Rebecca Breland and Joy Jones each went 3-0 in singles, and Stephanie Giraldo went 2-0 to lead the Pioneers over the Rams.
Joanne Coslo and Crystal Valenzuela went 2-0 in doubles for Rancho.
Valley 12, Moapa Valley 6 — At Overton, Jenna Beaudry, Nicole Russo, and Patrice Mayo each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Vikings over the Pirates.
The doubles teams of Chelsi Edwards and Madison Hauver, and Natilie Russ and Marianna Crippa went 3-0 for Moapa Valley.
Chaparral 17, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Kelley Terry and Kiara Miller were 3-0 in doubles as the Cowboys routed the Miners.
Jenna Andersen went 3-0 in singles for Chaparral.
Liberty 13, Green Valley 5 — At Green Valley, Aphrah Brokaw went 3-0 in singles to help the Patriots improve to 11-0 overall.
Ashley Wao-Udin and Valerie Nesenhoener were 3-0 in doubles for Liberty.

Silverado 15, Del Sol 3 — At Del Sol, Kristi Nguyen and Katie Barker each went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Skyhawks to an easy win over the Dragons.

Basic 10, Tech 8 — At Basic, Catherine Rutledge and Jennifer Rivera went 2-0 in doubles to help the Wolves edge the Roadrunners.
Tech’s Alexis Sanchez was 3-0 in singles.
Palo Verde 15, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Cimarron, Sara Sanders and Morgan Randazzo went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Panthers over the Spartans.
Starlyn Thomas went 3-0 in singles for Cimarron.
Shadow Ridge 12, Arbor View 6 — At Arbor View, Catherine Cabo and Debra Hogue went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Mustangs past the Aggies.
Faith Lutheran 15, Cheyenne 3 — At Cheyenne, Lexi Smith and Alex Edelman went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Crusaders over the Desert Shields.
Foothill 13, Boulder City 5 — At Boulder City, the Falcons got the road win over the Eagles.
Centennial 16, Legacy 2 — At Centennial, the host Bulldogs blitzed Legacy.
The Meadows 18, Mojave 0 — At The Meadows, the host Mustangs swept the Rattlers.
