ROUNDUP: Lara helps Virgin Valley boys down White Pine
William Lara had two goals and three assists Friday to help host Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team to a 6-0 win over White Pine.
Pedro Carminatti also scored twice for the Bulldogs, who got one goal apiece from Carlos Cano and Danny Medina.
Nathan Lee and Lucas Molin combined on the shutout, with Molin making five saves and Lee one.
Boulder City 5, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Boulder City, Trevor Montgomery scored two goals and had an assist as the Eagles held off Sunrise Mountain.
Todd Teepen, Hector Ortiz and Massimo Barbiera also scored for Boulder City.
GIRLS
Virgin Valley 3, White Pine 1 — At Mesquite, Kiera Ogden scored two goals and had an assist as the host Bulldogs scored the final three goals of the match to beat White Pine.
Larena Rushton also scored for Virgin Valley.
Ashlee Lepak scored just more than a minute into the match for the Bobcats.
